比尔·盖茨:具有电话功能的PC将取代普通电话

比尔·盖茨一直在企业管理人员中倡导通信一体化以及新媒体的使用,并预测未来PC将具有电话功能.
在 日前举办的微软CEO年度报告会上,盖茨预测,由于Office Communicator 2007 以及 Office Communications Server 2007等通信软件的推出,固定电话将逐渐消失,取而代之的将是拥有了电话功能的个人计算机.盖茨表示,"如果你有一台安装了电话外围设备的PC和一部手 机的话,两者联合起来工作会更有效率."

盖茨认为,PC在逐渐缩小,并且拥有越来越多的新规格,而移动设备,包括iPod在内,都趋向于拥有越来越大的屏幕,因此PC和移动设备之间的功能和性能差异将逐渐缩小.同时盖茨也认为他喜欢的平板计算机虽然现在并不流行,但是以后总有一天会被人们普遍应用.

盖茨说,"我相信手机和计算机将会走得越来越近,并且以后可能并没有什么特殊的设备类别了,因为以后不管什么设备,运行应用程序,看书,导航以及多媒体能力都必须非常强劲."

谈到通信一体化和通信新方式的问题,盖茨认为在线视频可以作为一种与顾客和开发者沟通的方式.例如微软的Channel 9,拿着摄像机的微软工作人员会在走廊里采访产品经理和开发人员,然后拍成短片供大开发商观看.

  日前,日本一家名为Strap-Ya个公司设计了一款手机供电系统,它的外形好像似曾相识哦,
        这个转换器的体积可以说是相当的小巧,只有7.6×2.5×1.5厘米大,非常便于携带。利用它顶端保护盖上的锁链,我们可以将其栓在手机或者挂在钥匙上,随时随地带在身边以防不测。

相 信很多年轻的网友都会和笔者一样,在看到下面这种"蓝、白、黑"三色搭配的东西时都会将它和一种国际知名品牌的橡皮擦联系在一起。不过今天我们手机频道要 为大家介绍的这个家伙可绝不仅仅是大家传统印象当中的学习工具,来自我们近邻日本的一家名为Strap-Ya的公司利用了它清新可人的造型设计,而将里面 改装成了一套能够将两节5的电能转换为可以给手机供电的系统,解决了用户出门在外,因为手机没电却无法为其充电而错过重要来电或短信的尴尬。

kiyotaki是日本人,老爸曾是东京银行的总裁。

kiyotaki在harvard念的phd,在lse教过书,现在在princeton。

这样讲并不能证明他牛在哪,讲几个小细节:

1、他的文章极少用数学,但是非常的牛,挂一篇workingpaper,挂个7-8年,引用、扩展他文章的成果都发表了,结果他的这篇文章还不准备投稿。

2、写文章从不用电脑,用打字机,再扫描,而且打字速度很慢,打字的动作美称"二龙戏珠"。

3、给学生的讲义是手写的扫描版。

4、性格非常的不着急,在harvard学生宿舍住到哄人才搬出来。

kiyotaki是现代货币经济学的第一号人物。

我是这样利用google notebook来做笔记的

现在,我已经越来越深入地卷入了google漩涡,
去年我就养成了一个习惯:gmail和google reader的页面从来不会关闭,
而最近一个月内,我变得离不开google notebook了,
我利用google notebook做笔记,制定计划,摘录内容,记录灵感,
总之,它已经完全代替了我桌面上的一个个txt文件,而且随时可在线使用,
永远也不用担心电脑中毒或者系统崩溃带来的损失。
我以前是使用windows自带的notepad来做读书笔记,
现在我是将firefox缩放到合适的大小,悬浮在pdf文件上方,
摘录我需要的段落或句子,如图所示:

而三个月前还让我失望的google bookmarks现在已经成为我的必要装备,
我终于发现,google书签已经改进得比美味书签更加好用,
不仅因为google不需要出国权限就可以随意浏览,
更重要的是google工具栏无处不在,无论是firefox,还是腾讯浏览器,
或者IE浏览器,甚至是opera浏览器,有了google工具栏,
你使用的都是同一个书签系统,随时更新,这带来了很大的方便。
firefox的书签虽然加入了google同步插件也可以随时更新到网络,
但仍然没有google书签跨平台的网络书签方便好用。
google的资源整合优势越来越强。
google的确成为了一个令所有对手恐惧的竞争者,
当google进军rss浏览器市场,推出google reader,
很快打败了bloglines,迅速占据了rss浏览器60%的市场份额。
因为google reader的确人性化,方便分享和保存数据。
现在google书签又打败了美味书签,凭借显而易见的跨平台优势,
google书签的优势还会继续加强。
我将我firefox的书签导入了google bookmarks,
google书签保留了firefox书签的分类目录结构,
我在google书签的tag前面加入000,001,002
这样的序数来控制这些tag在google工具栏书签中的顺序,
google书签支持批量修改书签tag,也可以很方便移除不需要的书签,
而且,还可以从个人搜索历史记录中保存所需要的网址为书签,
资源整合带来了非常大的便利,下图是我google书签的截图:


另外google docs也越来越好用,目前已经推出了在线文字处理和表格处理工具,
不久将推出在线演示文档,google docs将从微软的office办公软件那里抢到大量用户,
因为它是完全免费的。
google notebook可以保存某个tag为一个word文档,
并且可以保存为pdf、txt、word、tif等格式到本地。
这样,你不必担心你google notebook的内容无法备份了。

推荐各位使用google的这些软件,
google notebook
google reader
google docs
google canlendar
gmail
Google groups
blogger
google picasa
这些软件可以极大提高工作效率,带来很多方便。
